This movie "The class" felt too real for me. Not just because of the way the camera emulates the style and movements of a documentary (giving it a feeling of realism), but mainly because I was a High School teacher once, and all that happened in this film was so realistic that it brought all those memories back.
I have to say I really admire HS teachers. In this modern times, when you have to deal with people from so many different backgrounds (cultural, religious, ethical, political, sexual, etc) it is not an easy task to get everyone involved in the learning process.
I felt this movie really touched in a non-judgmental way on the difficult issues of teaching in our society today. I loved the way the movie did not make any one a hero or a devil, and teacher and students alike were shown from a very human perspective.
