Review of The Class (2008) by Jim C — 07 Dec 2009
'The Class' is like many other well-acted, well-cast French films in that the characters are played with sincerity and a naturalness that's very rare in American mainstream cinema. The fact that the kids' characters all use their actors' names and the lack of a musical score emphasizes its docudrama reality - more vérité than cinéma vérité.
