Review of The Class (2008) by Victor R — 13 Oct 2009
It very nicely maintains an almost documentary style, less narrative and interviews. The effect is doubly powerful as we're forced to remain an emotional-detached observer we grow the resonant sense of helplessness and remoteness.
In the most understated way it shows great tension and struggle. And you can't ask for a better ending - deflated yet hopeful. It's easily one of the best for its material.
