Review of The Clan of the Cave Bear (1986) by Stacey L — 16 Apr 2007

This movie really is only for those who have read Jean M Auel's Book, as I watched this with a few other people, and everyone who had not read the book walked out saying they couldent understand any of it.

I loved it, the book has been and still is one of the best and most favourite books I have read, it was a shame for me they had to spoil it by making 'romantic' sequals.

This movie is true to the book while softening the most cruel scenes. I do believe they made this movie perfectly and there were not many scenes I wished they took from the book.

This movie and story are a great look into the past, I only wish there was more wisdom shared in the movie as there was in the book.
