Review of The Clan of the Cave Bear (1986) by Vedrana M — 07 Aug 2009
Pretty decent adaptation of Jean M. Auel's successful novel which, admittedly, I have not read. Daryl Hannah delivers a great performance, as always. The movie is slow moving, taking its own time, but that's just a reflection of how life was like at that time, I guess.
The soundtrack is pretty crowded, though, with Alan Silvestri's (otherwise nice) score taking up waaaay too much space. But all in all, well worth seeing.
