Review of The Civil War on Drugs (2011) by Josh G — 27 Nov 2013
When watched in the final season, & split between 10 episodes it feels like the worlds longest sketch and is pure comedy. Every episode reveling a more over the top, & hilariously accurate at times telling of two kids who think they started the civil war.
...and that was just watching it the 1st time live.
However When watched all cut together you see, it really is it's own stand alone film. It's a 80min low budget comic masterpiece. It has little more then a cast of 5 that play probably 40 or 50 different characters. The WKUK really set the bar for sketch comedy groups & took it to the NEXT Level their final season & by what amounts to the WKUKs 1st film..
5-Stars.
