Review of The Circus (1928) by David L — 09 Feb 2017
The Circus is far from the best that Chaplin had to offer owing to a slow and lacking second act and a plot that is too simplistic and not particularly rich, but the characters are quite likable, some scenes are very funny, the ending and the romance are sweet and the film succeeds the most in its action which was fantastic here and sometimes even admirably innovative.
