Review of The Circle (2017) by Maria M — 30 Apr 2017

This movie had a great cast and a solid premise, but where it failed and failed horribly was in it's delivery. It spent SO much time on the "Circle" being all knowing and invading & taking away everyone's privacy that the attempts to show the dangers of losing your privacy seemed token and seriously underdeveloped.

Also, other than Emma Watson's character, the character development in this movie was atrocious. John Boyega's character was so underdeveloped that he seemed like an after thought at times and Tom Hanks' & Patton Oswalt's characters were so under developed that the ending fell seriously flat and made little sense.

It's too bad because this movie had the potential to be really good, but the delivery and total lack of development in certain areas totally ruined a good idea.
