Review of The Circle (2017) by Jon G — 07 May 2017

Tom Hanks, Emma Watson, and Bill Paxton do what they can in this plotless, drifting movie, but in the end their talents are wasted. It seems that the writers decided to mix a big pot of spaghetti, with as many potential problems of an open society as they could think of, and then throw the entire pot against the wall to see what stuck. None of it does. And then, to top it off, the movie finishes without really addressing ANY of the issues it raises.

I'm assuming that the leads got a hefty paycheck for being in this movie, because I cannot figure out what they saw in the script that inspired them to appear in it.
