Review of The Circle (2017) by Ian C — 19 Jan 2018
This actually develops some good ideas in convincing ways. The graphics are good and quite plausible, and that's important to the film's overall believability. The casting of the principal characters is good.
Things get a wee bit clunky for a while in the middle, but the film finds its way and emerges as a valid comment upon the hugeness of our digital media corporations and extrapolates the direction that they're heading in - towards oblivion in mundaneness.
It was well scripted, well made, and a good watch.
