Now THAT is how you take a sedentary activity such as a card game and make it both visually exciting and suspenseful - yet another amazing editing job from the late Mr. Ashby. I did feel bad, though, for the guys sitting a few seats down from me who apparently didn't know the first thing about poker.
This was not their film.
