Review of The Cider House Rules (1999) by Jim S — 17 Mar 2008
Enjoyable. Michael Caine should not have won an Oscar. He didn't have to do a whole lot of acting. He just read lines. It's like the Academy couldn't decide between Michael Clark Duncan and Haley Joel Osment, so they gave it to Caine.
This is what this movie represents most to me: a failed Oscar awarding.
