Review of The Chumscrubber (2005) by Jason R — 06 Jan 2008

This movie really exemplifies why I'm so in love with dramedies with ensemble casts. It's so unconventional and occasionally unexpected that I couldn't take my eyes off the screen. Jamie Bell is inordinately talented; he manages to outshine all of the big name character actors that leant their talent to this project.

This would have received 5 stars had it not become almost laughably over the top near the end. That said, I'd watch it again in a heartbeat.
