Review of The Chumscrubber (2005) by Steve P — 22 Jan 2008
This is a BRILLIANT movie!!! The synopsis is worthless in describing what the movie is really about. The movie is about suburban life where no one really connects with each other, parents don't listen to their kids, kids don't listen to each other, all with profound consequences.
According to the director and writer, the Chumscrubber is a metaphor for a teenager that has 'lost their head' but still retains emotions. A very, very profound movie.
