Review of The Chumscrubber (2005) by Tyler C — 05 Mar 2008
This movie is very cool, great soundtrack, it's very angsty and seemingly pessimistic but it gets more hopeful toward the end. Its more gripping than I'd expected, mainly because the characters feel like real people and have a natural aura that emanates from them, nothing really seems processed. It has a bit more of an american beauty feeling to it, and there are some excellent surreal moments that will make you go "Burgh?".
All-in-all, this movie was really good, everything flows pretty well, it's an interesting story and the characters are intriguing.
I'll most likely watch it several times.
