Review of The Chumscrubber (2005) by Dazza J — 06 Jan 2009
Any film that attempts to mock surburban utopia in the form of clever satire is OK in my book. Jamie Bell, Ralph Fiennes, and Glenn Close give outstanding performances. The tone of the movie is reminiscent of Donnie Darko, but don't expect the same recycled themes.
A second run-through is encouraged if you're counting on realizing this film's full potential.
