Review of The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) by Sherri R — 25 Aug 2012

I believe the critics have rated this movie much lower than it should have been. If I could, I would ask them if they enjoyed Schwarzenegger's Total Recall back in the day even though it had an absurd plot? Because even though the stories are nothing alike, this movie has a lot of similarities to it.

Lots of kick-ass action, great one liners, and eventually an unwitting hero to the common people. Bonus is the great cinematography. Only downside is the length of the movie. While I thoroughly enjoyed every minute, there could have been about 15 minutes cut out and you would still understand everything going on.

Maybe that would have kept the critics from harshly grading it.
