Review of The Chronicles of Riddick (2004) by Richard S — 23 Dec 2010
In stark contrast to its predecessor, this movie sets-up the protagonist to be of utmost importance to the survival of the universe at large, and we see now in this movie that it is a large universe indeed, the focus having been shifted from some dusty, backwater planet to multiple planets and systems with prophecies and nearly mystical beings.
While not the follow-up expected by many fans, this is still a great follow-up and one of the better sci-fi movies in the past decade.
