Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) by Damien F — 22 Aug 2011
Another great adventure story installment series of Narnia movie! But I find the story made Lucy and Edmund to be the main leads. I find the new character Eustace as annoying and can't believe he will be a lead in the future of this series movie.
Though Tilda Swinton reprises her White Witch role in a few scenes, she was still remarkable as well as Ben Barnes as King Caspian this time. Again I find the store a move-away from the mythical creatures of Narnia and more human character involve.
The story is likeable for any Narnia fans but the previous two are better yet the story has a lot of self lessons to pick-up. It also has a emotional ending like Prince Caspian as this is Lucy and Edmund's last time in Narnia.
Georgie Henley as Lucy is so effective in the last clip that her sadness can be felt just through her stare. Lastly, the movie has a great and suitable theme song again, "There's a Place for Us" recorded by Carrie Underwood.
