Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) by Roshan C — 03 Dec 2011

The first two Narnia films were true great adventures, this thrid installment does not have the glory and the dynamic feel of it's predcessors. A huge disappointment. It's supposed to be an adventure nothing goes on apart from them sitting on a ship.

It's so long and just unthinkably boring. Everyone's saying it's a solid kids adventure, it would bore any child to death. Perhaps that's the problem. It tries to be a kid's movie too much by avoiding the more brutal take seen in Prince Caspian.

Middling stuff.
