Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010) by Rainer K — 01 Oct 2011

The Voyage of the Dawn Treader is a solid third installment of the Narnia series and though I prefer the epic battles of the first two films, the more adventure-story-like approach (thereby massively borrowing from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise)of The Voyage of the Dawn Treader isn't bad either.

The film had more potential though. Eustace, the Pevensie's cousin was going on my nerves the whole film and the effects weren't so good either (except for Aslan and Reepicheep, btw my favourite character in the film, with great voice acting by Simon Pegg).

Luckily, The Voyage of the Dawn Treader has, like all the Narnia films a goodbye scene as ending - you can't really screw that up - a guarantor for tears.
