Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005) by Ulla D — 01 Mar 2014
Love it! It's more like "Lord of the Rings" than "Harry Potter". The story centers around four children during WWII. The children get sent to a safe house where there's a magic closet in a "Spare 'Oom" that leads to a magical place called Narnia.
However, they're being hunted by an evil witch so it's a "good vs evil" scenario. Predictable if you ask me, but worth seeing. It's best suited for pretend because of the violence, although its not particularly gory.
