Perfect amount of special effect so it does seem realistic and not like your watching a computer game. Compelling storytelling and a great adaption of the novel - it really does bring it to life and a great movie for fans of the book and the general public.
Making sequels was a terrible Idea, if you wish to be saved from the disgust, stick to this and don't go any further.
