I'm sure C. S. Lewis would be very proud of this. It captures the classic child fantasy world very well. Seeing this movie when it came out, I was blown away by the visual retelling of one of my favorite fantasy novels.
The effects are decent, the acting is surprisingly well done, and the action is really engaging. Some of the kids aren't as fleshed out as the others but their relationships with each other are pretty believable.
For a kids fantasy movie this is a really good one. Anyone who loved the book would be satisfied with this.
