Good movie, better than the first. Plenty of action in the movie. Good amount of different creatures. Enough of a difference in the plot from the first movie to make it enjoyable. The trouble is there is zero character introductions and the amount of explaining of the plot is pretty little as well.
If you've seen the first movie, but haven't read the book you'll be a little lost. If you haven't seen the first movie and haven't read the book you'll be completely lost.
