Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) by Shane B — 18 Jun 2011
Very similar to the first only without the big Aslan/Jesus death and charismatic Ice Queen.
The children (same but bigger this time around) romp about as the young princes and princesses, and they are joined by the dashing catalogue model Prince Caspian, leading to a big kick off very like the first film and a big battle with a load of inexplicably Spanish bad guys.
Ticking the annoying talking animal slot taken by the otters is a rat with a sword, and the obligatory not so subtle Christian double meaning is a big keep the faith he's real if you believe in him vibe.
Meh.
