Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) by David G — 22 Feb 2012
It's fun and finely made, but sadly the magic that made the first such a classic was the world itself and is now replaced by fight scenes. It's certainly not bad; in fact I thought it was visually fantastic to watch.
But not everyone will be treated as fair now that Narnia is a battlefield instead of a world for escapism. In conclusion, the beauty and majesty of the magical world is told with more emphasis on epic action sequences (which are very well done) but still take away a part of Narnia that is so memorable.
