"A more mature sequel to that of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It does sacrifice the magic and the innocence of the first film despite both of them being somewhat violent. ".

The Pevensie's return to Narnia before going on a train headed for a boarding school. They first step into Narnia with hopes of revisiting their old friends such as Mr. Tumnus and the two talking beavers. Until, they realize that a passing year is 1300 years later in Narnia and all their beloved fantasy creatures that they remembered has long been gone. In replace for these characters, we get to meet Prince Caspian who was the next in line to rule over the throne. Mr. Miraz (his uncle) wanted to be the next in charge so he decided to have Caspian kicked out. In order to gain back his rightful rule, he must when the honor of the creatures of Narnia and what is more better than to side with the kings and queens of Narnia from the past 1300 years.

They are all grown up and so are their performances. Its like watching Harry, Hermione and Ron from the Harry Potter series. One notably in particular is Georgie Henley as the ever optimistic Lucy. The Special Effects also have improved a whole lot and it brings out that light enchantment and that harsh darkness of Caspian' kingdom (Just like the Red Queen's castle in Alice In Wonderland or Ravenna' castle from Snow White & the Huntsman). There is more battle sequences and its thoroughly entertaining but also overlong and it loses the spirit of fighting for what is right. It is darker and its meant to be more grim but I definitely had a wonderful time. You have to go in with an open mind.
