Review of The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) by Michael W — 16 Aug 2015

This movie is good entertainment. Peter is not very Magnificent, and the blatant antagonism he and others display towards Lucy is an unjustified plot device. Do they not know by now that Narnia is a magical world, a world which Lucy first discovered? Whose senses are most keen to Narnia? Lucy, since the beginning. Caspian and Peter's personal flaws cause disasters, but their respective heart issues go unresolved. The plot just moves on, chased by a comic-book villain with a super-army. Aslan as always is excellent, but his rescue of the Narnian forces is anti-climactic.

Good, but not great.
