Review of The Christmas Shoes (2002) by Sim Y — 02 Jan 2008
A reminder not to take family for granted just because they are there. What's valuable is not that you have them or the length of time you could spend together, but that you've take time to be with them and the effort to cherish them - a drop-by for a cup of coffee or a phone call just to say hi - little as it is, it all adds up.
This actually reminds me of the Parable of the Rich Fool.
