Review of The Christmas Bunny (2010) by Roxanne R — 12 Dec 2011
Its a sweet film but definitely targeted at the 8-12 year olds. Teaches family values and all about a rabbit's upkeep. A few scenes with many rabbits were so adorable that you want to reach out and hug all of them! It is a charming family film about a recently fostered young girl named Julia (Sophie Bolen) who has trouble communicating until she finds an injured rabbit (Rubert but named Rumple in the movie).
It explores the problem of loneliness through the eyes of both the young girl and an old lady (Betsy Ross played by Florence Henderson) who cares for injured animals. I understand the money generated goes towards animal charities that help homeless, abandoned rabbits so definitely worth renting for a good cause!
