Review of The Chocolate War (1988) by Joe C — 12 Jun 2009
Even taking into account the terrible compromise of the finale which pretty much annuls the entire theme of the novel, the Chocolate War is still a bad ass 80's movie. I don't know why, but I just can't resist movies about private school kids with shitty haircuts.
Also, one extra star for the wicked Kate Bush track "Running Up That Hill", it's so friggin' sweet!
