This movie does not pleasure the people who have read the book.

First of all, you don't feel as much sympathy towards the protaganist (Jerry) instead you feel more sympathy towards Archie. Unfortunately, Ilan Mitchell - Smith doesn't really doesn't really portray the depressing Jerry Renault. It also had some changes I didn't really like at all. Like for example, the ending. I didn't like it because it doesn't capture the depression of the book and doesn't show how depressing the story is.
