Review of The China Syndrome (1979) by Morten Ø — 17 Oct 2010
Not really knowing what I was about to watch, I really liked this TV-investigation-thriller of a movie. Even though the story is centered around a time where the anti nuclear movement were probably more significant, the story still deals with timeless themes such as how big corporations in generel only a concerned about their own income and thereby put the common people's health at risk.
However, what I really appriciate in this movie is how it diplicts Jack Lemmon's character, and how small a difference there is between a complete maniac and a national hero in the perspective of the TV-media.
