Review of The Children of Huang Shi (2008) by David L — 09 Jul 2008
Children of the silk road, as its called in australia... is a beautifully shot and fairly well written film.
Its production values are amazing, in fact this film could have a shot at the oscar if not for some of the dreadful dialogue written and the near film destroying mis-casting of john rhys davies. Without those issues this culturally significant film could have been a classic.
Its definately worth a watch because of the awesome production values though.
