I do like my chinese films, and I thought I would like this... it didn't really live up to my expectations. The film is meant to be based on a true historical story, and that in my books is meant to be a drama type genre.
But the filmmakers just took it to almost a fantasy level. It was off putting. Almost to the point where you stop believing.
