Review of The Children (1980) by Senor C — 03 Jul 2006
Im starting to think that all flix should have a Friday the 13th score to them (hey it kinda worked for the Hills Have Eyes 2 and it sorta works here). Although The Children does have it's moments of brightness w/ those little bastards trying to hug the life out of you (and in turn getting their hands hacked off) it can't sustain itself: it's characters too stupid, the pacing misspent and the violence too subdued; as well as an ending that's misplayed, misshot and completely mishandled.
