Review of The Childhood of a Leader (2016) by Gerard M — 15 Oct 2016
Immediately compelling, Brady Corbet's fictional narrative about the formative years of a despot is effectively told with the tonality of a horror film. Essentially, this is the filmic love-child of "The Omen" and "Barry Lyndon".
It's beautifully shot and chillingly scored.
