Review of The Chateau Meroux (2011) by Venetia S — 27 Feb 2012
A cute though predictable love story with all your basic love story elements of boy meets girl, misunderstanding ensues, and ultimately redemption is made and all while being set in a Napa Valley backdrop.
Now despite the film being predictable and a bit cliched, the characters were rather a lot of fun to watch and the acting was pretty decent with the best performance being from Marla Sokoloff (who seems to make everything she's in more enjoyable to watch).
So, if you're looking for a sweet, rom-con movie to fill an afternoon, this one is a fine pick by my standards.
