First off, MiniDV + natural light = WORST IDEA EVER. That said, "The Chateau" is damn funny. The laid-back, improv style coupled with culture-clase humor might fly over some people's heads, but the willing cast brings the goods.
Romany Malco is absolutely hilarious - restrained and cool one second, frantic the next - and Sylvie Testud is absolutely adorable as always.
