Review of The Chaperone (2011) by Joe A — 11 Apr 2011
One of the better of the WWE made flicks. This stars wrestler Triple H as an ex-con trying to rekindle the relationship with his daughter while unsuccessfully trying to stay out of trouble. Script is generic kid stuff but, Triple H tries hard and has some charm and does have a good repoire with Ariel Winter as his daughter.
It's predictable but harmless and far better then the last comedy they attempted starring The Big Show. WWE still needs to improve the talent behind the camera for their film division but, this is a small step in the right direction.
