The seance scene alone is scarier and more disturbing than 90% of the rubbish horror movies seem to muster up in recent years. Iconic actor George C Scott gives the film added credibility and class while the storyline may initially come across as straight forward, eventually leads into a complex and disturbing outcome.
If you are like me and shake your head at horror films that rely on gore and special effects to substitute for it's shortcomings in storyline and fine acting then give this A grade picture a screening...lights off of course.
