Review of The Changeling (1980) by Andrew L — 25 Mar 2009
The finest horror movie ever made is indeed Canadian! George C. Scott gives a powerhouse performance as a grieving widower who may or may not be living in a haunted house. An unbelievably electric atmosphere hangs in the air of this film from beginning to end.
The tight direction of Peter Medak serves to enhance the excellent script by Russell Hunter and the score drives the film to frenzied heights. My highest recommendation, this film is an absolute must-see for everyone.
