Review of The Changeling (1980) by Jonathan P — 09 Sep 2008
Certainly spooky, yet at times painfully drawn out. I love George C. Scott. Always a treat. What killed the mood for me several times was the excessive use of "scary music." Sometimes it was needed whereas most other times it wasn't.
Silence is scary. Oh and so was that wheelchair. Upon viewing, it is obvious that several movies have copied themes, imagery and scares making this film one of the original ghost stories.
