Review of The Change-Up (2011) by Joey B — 27 May 2012

A film where the leads are bad, the humor is bad, the idea is not original but it's different. But I give the supporting cast credit for helping this film stay you know, not terrible. This film epitomizes what I hate about Modern Hollywood, too much emphasis on "grossing out" the audience, too much emphasis on trying to be as absurd as possible with characters, and no focus on the actual story.

Tries to comedic and dramatic at the same time, but going from depressing story about relationship problems to a character being crapped on just doesn't work. Just...no.
