A WONDERFUL CLASSIC, though it has been said that the Great Wallace Beery didn't realy like working with kids, you would never have known it in this movie. Jackie Cooper was not only adorable, but a great actor on his own at a very young age.
What a team, this movie tears your heart out as you watch a Father and Son endure hard times, and fight to stay together. I must have watched this movie over a hundred times and still cry when I see it.
Right up there with Boys Town.
