The handful of reviewers passing comment here so far have all clearly fallen under some kind of covert, on-screen Sarsgaard hypnosis. Perhaps it was this trickery that explains his forgetting to act. Truly embarrassing and deeply unerotic- even the taudry press campaign pre-release was better than this mess from the director that defecated 'Maid in Manhattan' onto our wretched planet the following year.
