A serial killer in a coma gets put into virtual reality with a FBI agent so she can find out where his latest victim, who is still alive, can be found.

Wow. This film is mind-boggling. I will start by saying that this is the most disturbing film I have ever seen. It is also the most visually stunning film I have ever seen. There are so many scenes that are brilliant to look at, and them alone makes it worth the watch. The audience is left confused basically the whole time and when the ending comes about, the virtual reality seems rather pointless. The film went for nearly two hours too, which is way too long for a film with a simple plot, however the beautiful imagery and visuals more than made up for it. I definately don't love this film, but I can only reccommend it for it's visual effects.

The plot is extremely thin. Whoever came up with this is definately a sicko. So many non-connected scenes rolled into one movie is just disturbing, and that's part of the charm. The acting was good. Jennifer Lopez was great and Vince Vaughn was surprisingly energetic.

Overall The Cell is the most amazing visual film i've ever seen, and even though it's distrubingly confusing, it keeps the audience watching. My rating is 3/5.
