Review of The Cell (2000) by Anna Q — 18 Feb 2013
It's pretty much the definition of style over substance, but what a phenomenal style it is. It's a movie driven by visuals, and that's where it thrives. The story is adequate, but Tarsem has created some bizarre and surreal imagery that is completely stunning and compensates for the other average areas.
