Review of The Cell (2000) by Juliette H — 01 Aug 2009
A triumph of pop-video iconography over substance. The eminently capable D'Onofrio and Weber didn't stand a chance. A Del Torro could have made something of it, but Singh is as out of his depth as his serial killers' poor benighted victims.
Lopez (so promising in some of her other outings) wears her make-up prettily.
A film which is not ageing well.
